Our Data Use Overview
Last updated May 15, 2026
Application Summary
Ultracorp is a personal finance dashboard that lets a user connect their own financial accounts through Plaid Link and view balances, investment accounts, holdings, and portfolio totals in one mobile web app. Plaid data is requested only after the user signs in, verifies MFA, opens Plaid Link, and consents to connect an institution.
Data Requested From Plaid
- Institution metadata
- Account names and account types
- Current and available balances
- Investment holdings
- Securities metadata returned by Plaid
How Data Is Used
Data retrieved from Plaid is used only to show the connected user their own account balances, investment account summaries, portfolio totals, and allocation views. Ultracorp does not sell user financial data.
Consent And Access Flow
- The user authenticates with Supabase before seeing the dashboard.
- The user verifies WebAuthn MFA before Plaid Link is rendered.
- The user chooses a supported institution inside Plaid Link and grants consent.
- Ultracorp exchanges the public token server-side and stores the resulting access token server-side.
- The browser receives account and portfolio display data, not Plaid secrets or access tokens.
Credential Handling
Ultracorp does not collect bank usernames or passwords. Institution authentication is handled through Plaid Link. Plaid access tokens are handled server-side and are not exposed to the browser.
Retention And Deletion
Plaid access is retained only while needed to provide the user-requested dashboard. A user can delete stored Plaid tokens and cached financial data from the authenticated dashboard or request deletion using the contact address below. See the data deletion page for the operational request path.
