Purpose
Ultracorp uses Plaid to let a user connect their own financial accounts and view personal financial information inside the app. This policy describes the data the app collects and how it is used.
Information Collected
When a user connects an account through Plaid, Ultracorp may receive the following data:
- Institution metadata
- Account names and account types
- Current and available balances
- Investment holdings
- Securities metadata returned by Plaid
Ultracorp does not receive or store financial institution usernames or passwords.
Use Of Information
Financial data is used to display account summaries, balances, portfolio totals, and related dashboard views to the user. Ultracorp does not sell Plaid data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties.
User Consent
Users initiate account connection through Plaid Link and authorize access to their own financial data before Ultracorp receives account data from Plaid.
Sharing
Plaid data is used inside Ultracorp to provide the dashboard experience requested by the user. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers used to host, authenticate, secure, and operate the app, but only for those service purposes.
Retention And Deletion
Plaid access is retained only while needed to provide the user-requested dashboard. Users may delete stored Plaid access tokens and cached account data from the authenticated dashboard or request deletion by contacting Ultracorp. Deletion requests are handled as described on the data deletion page.
Security
Plaid access tokens are handled server-side. Users must authenticate and complete WebAuthn MFA before Plaid Link is available. Additional security practices are described on the security page.
